Housing Finance Agencies
The path and roles necessary for success often change, as does the market. Our decades of experience have provided us the roadmap to support and adapt to the on-going market changes the Housing Finance Agencies have endured. Catering to the needs of our Housing Finance Agency partners is a priority at eHP, each program is treated as a new project. Our role begins from program inception with discussions of program, opportunities, market trends, and synergy in workflows. Our implementation process is a collaborative atmosphere with all of the HFA’s working partners to guarantee a successful affordable homeownership program.
The recipe to a successful program includes the participation of an active and engaged Lender base. eHousingPlus works with the HFA’s to provide the Lenders all the necessary tools to develop stronger ties to the Programs. eHousingPlus collaborates with the Lenders to go beyond the On-Boarding Process through multiple levels of on-going communications, training, and support. We remain connected through every step of the way. Our Lender Leadership Committee allows us to listen to the Lenders’ challenges, ideas, and maximize opportunities. Understanding their workflow processes and requirements enables us to continue to innovate and provide the most value to the forefront, aiding in the HFA’s Program’s success. Our goal is for Lenders’ activities to become more fluid, briefer, and intuitive.
Data exchanges with the Servicers are limitless. eHousingPlus designed and developed the first XML interface between a Servicer and the Agency – this has eliminated redundancies, manual workload, and all loan changes through the pipeline. The coding system also allows the Servicer to distribute the loans promptly for purchase and deliver efficiently. Working with different Servicers and their staff has provided us with the internal workings of how they operate and the impact on HFA Programs. Our day-to-day communication allows us to understand special program requirements they might have and adjust our processes to meet their needs.
Collaborating with stakeholders of HFA Programs is critical to generate cohesive and measurable outcomes. Our approach capitalizes on the daily interaction that our organization has with our HFA Partners, Program Financial Advisors, Hedgers, Servicers, and others. We provide them access to useful tools and coordinate activities to ensure that they can also deliver the required services to the Agencies. Via our secure portal, the stakeholders gain access to important Program and loan data. The need for various levels of data crunching, reporting, and analysis is evident due to the multiple stakeholders involved in managing the Programs; eHousingPlus created and developed tools to provide the data.
