Housing and Development Software, (HDS) is the software and system provider to eHousingPlus, and related systems utilized in the administration of the Single Family Programs. We are happy to report that none of the HDS/eHP Systems or Web sites are affected. Please read the notice from HDS CIO Andrew Moffitt:
Good afternoon HDS clients,
Housing and Development Software is aware of the OpenSSL vulnerability nicknamed “Heartbleed” or CVE-2014-0160 revealed earlier this week. HDS is very conscientious in all matters regarding client security, we are happy to report that this vulnerability does not affect any HDS systems as none of our systems make use of or have OpenSSL built in to them. Additionally all of the HDS web applications are built on the Windows IIS platform which is not vulnerable to this exploit.
