Housing and Development Software and its parent company, HDS Companies, are proud to contribute support to the 2022 Conference on Housing and Economic Development, hosted by Idaho Housing and Finance, as well as their broader involvement with St. Vincent de Paul Southwest Idaho. The conference, which only comes around once every two years, offers attendees smart strategies, powerful connections, and eye-opening inspiration—helping everyone in the housing and economic development fields to develop a shared vision for fast-growing communities.
Over the last 24 years, giving back has been at the heart of HDS and has always been a part of our company’s mission. HDS will serve as the 2022 Conference on Housing and Economic Development’s Silver Level Sponsor. We chose this sponsorship because, among other benefits, it offered HDS the opportunity to sponsor a full-conference registration and donate it as a conference scholarship for a nonprofit attendee. The scholarship went to Cathy Hagadone, incoming Board President of the St. Vincent de Paul Southwest Idaho. This non-profit organization helps people in need by assisting with food, housing expenses, clothing, furniture, and other basic human needs through generous donations of goods, food, volunteer time, and financial support.
At HDS, part of our core beliefs is that volunteering and giving back through service projects, sponsorships, and scholarships are impactful ways to support our communities. This fantastic experience will afford Cathy the opportunity to network with other members of the housing and community development industry. Together, we can help prevent homelessness in Southwest Idaho and promote a caring culture.
