We are pleased to announce that Sheryl Krocek, our Business Development Manager, has been invited to serve on the NALHFA Awards of Excellence Committee for the seventh consecutive year. The NALHFA Award of Excellence is the most prestigious national recognition given to local Housing Finance Agencies for the critical work they do to provide Affordable Housing in their communities.
NALHFA’s Awards Committee will once again recognize outstanding projects from local housing finance agencies from across the country in the following categories:
- Multifamily Excellence
- Single-Family Excellence
- HOME Excellence
- Redevelopment Excellence
In addition, as part of their selection to serve on the NALHFA Award of Excellence, Committee Members were given the opportunity to submit proposals for Session Topics. Sheryl collaborated with Sue Denihan to develop the submission and offer potential panelists for the session.
This group receives proposals for Single-Family Programs as well as Multi-Family Projects. There were more than nine submissions for the Multifamily awards, as well as several Single-Family Programs. It is impressive to see what the HFAs have accomplished in the Affordable Housing space.
